I had first visited the outside of the ground back in 1985 were the board outside had advertised their next fixture was against Everton. Seven years on and Tranmere were in town, there was still an atmosphere around as they had the reminents of their members only scheme in place after the troubled match against Millwall. The game ended in a thrilling draw, Aldridge Nevin and Muir on target but the goals weren''t on the football league show admist rumours their were no cameras there although i think i''ve seen one clip on some show at some point which makes me question this. It''s quite an unusual entrance to the away end almost going through someones back garden to get into the ground
