First visit to Fleetwood's Highbury. Similar in size to Accrington though the difference being the impressive Main Stand. Stood on the terrace and having bought a ticket from a little shed went in the unmanned turnstiles thanks to the bar code on the ticket. I didn't expect that level of automation. Game itself was keenly contested. Great opening goal by Declan McManus, a cracking shot on the run from just outside the penalty area. Southend deserved their equaliser when it finally came from ex Bury player, David Worrall, who expertly chipped the ball back into the unguarded goal. This resulted from Fleetwood's keeper charging out to stop the attacker from going around him. A draw a fair result in the Fylde coast sunshine.
