Went on coach. Missed U Dave's birthday lunch. Players celebrated second goal right in front of us. SL Q&A before match at Notts Co ground, Dad said thank you to him for everything he has done.
Nottingham Forest, having the home advantage, got on the first foot right from the word go. City were struggling to get back into the match, despite having an impressive away following making the 3hr journey. After around 20 mins, Forest took the lead through a scrappy goal. A freekick was drilled in from the touchline,and after several deflections, Ben Osborn fired a low shot past keeper Richard O'Donnell. The City Ground erupted.
