I travelled up to West London, changing at Clapham Junction for a train to Putney, where I went in The Railway (JDW),
opposite the station for a couple of drinks before walking up Putney High Street, over Putney Bridge and the taking the river path to Craven Cottage. It was my first visit to Craven Cottage and I really enjoyed it, yes it was a great result for Birmingham winning 5-2, and the atmosphere from the 3,000 Blues fans inside the ground was brilliant, but I also liked the fact Craven Cottage is an old fashioned stadium, what I call a real football ground.
After the match I returned to The Railway for something to eat and got chatting to some Fulham fans who I found to be very friendly. I later stopped of at The Junction and The Falcon at Clapham Junction before making my way back to Littlehampton where I live.
