Two goals from Ross McCormack were enough to beat Charlton, the first on 18'' followed a fizzing shot by Peter Whittingham which was parried by goalkeeper Nicky Weaver into the path of Ross who struck the rebound into the back of the net. His second was from a free kick on the edge of the area which he struck low past Weaver.
