Comments :
Match no. 1434. Srevenage''s receding hopes of claiming the last play-off spot were effectively ended by this home defeat. A poor first-half ended with Burton taking the lead against the run of play. Borough made a better start after the interval and had several near misses in the first 15 minutes but their hopes were dealt a fatal blow when Dan Butler was red carded for an off-the-ball incident. 15 minutes later Burton scored a second and Borough could manage only a solitary goal 2 minutes from time. Although Burton were promoted to the EFL 15 years ago this was the first time I''d seen them play meaning I have now seen every team currently in the Premier/ EFL. Stevenage wore their third kit yellow shirts in support of the Garden House Hospice.
