Arrived just after 11am with cracking sunny weather. Talked into doing the ground tour for £30 which included match ticket, programme, team sheet and a pie and a pint which was enjoyable and a worthwhile exercise. Number 7 Symington scored the first of his four goals on 20 minutes following up a half cleared effort on the edge of the box. The game had started quite evenly and competitively but this changed at that juncture as Witton were reduced to ten men but i didn''t see why but the hosts had to make a substitution as well. This quietened some of the travelling fans who had tried to create some atmosphere. Just time for a shot to be hit hard onto the corner of the upright taking a slight deflection on the way. HT 1-0, despite being on the back foot Witton were gifted an opportunity to equalise but failed to capitalise and were punished a minute later with a fine curled effort from 20 yards(54). Number 8 Nugent finished from the edge of the box after the ball bounced around the box and was failed to be cleared. A one on one was taken to the goalkeepers left and slotted home and the fifth from the opposite side was drilled in off the post as the keeper tried to close down the shot.
