Went with Dad on the supporters coach. Left home just before 6am and drove to Sutton to get the coach. The coach left at 6:30 and made good progress without getting stuck all journey. Stopped around Leicester just after 9:00 and managed to get to the ground at 12. Walked along the promenade from the ground into Cleethorpes where we had fish and chips on the beach and went for a walk in the town. Got back to the ground at about 14:00. The first half was a pretty dull affair with neither side gaining any momentum or having any real chances of note. Grimsby had a goal disallowed from a corner but not sure why. The second half was a bit better and we had the majority of the ball but it was that final ball that was constantly letting us down with little creativity up top to create a clear cut chance. Grimsby probably had the two best chances in the game with one on ones but were saved well by Rose. Got the coach back home and left the ground straight away. Got back to Sutton at about 22:15 and drove home getting back home just before 22:45.
