This was too opportunity to miss Glossop CC first team were playing cricket at 12.30 pm on the original ground where Glossop North End played in the Football League at the same time Glossop North End were playing Huddersfield Town just a few minutes away across the railway track.For the record, Glossop scored 149 in their 40 overs but Heaton replied with 150/4 in 35.5 overs but I only saw a few overs, had a nice cold drink and then it was back to my football.
