Early start called in to Bonnyrigg rose and Whitehall welfare on route, unfortunately no one home but still got a few pics. First SFL league game for Kelty against local rivals Cowdenbeth (apparently 3 miles apart). No sign of a club shop but got chatting to the bloke who does football adventures site on youtube. Kelty played the better in the first half and had a deflected shot that hit the bar before a run and cut-in from the left wing unleashed a low shot into the bottom right corner from Cardle. Second half the blue brazil came out strongly with kelty on the back foot. Very vocal caims for a penalty for handball were turned down leading to two bookings before minutes later a penalty was awarded for a trip but the home keeper saved to his left. A rare forage forward doubled hearts lead with a cut back to 16 yards inside the box was finished first time by Philp which changed the game again. This time the away sides heads went down and Kelty started to get back in the game.
