Went with Chris and the A1 was closed at Catterick. We drove through the floods and got there with about 10 minutes to spare. I remember Lee Cattermole got sent off and we generally struggled in the 1st half but goals from Craig Gardner and James MacClean saw us through.

Very tidy ground £7 parking on site. Sunderland were the better side despite harshly being reduced to 10 men. Will Cattermole ever learn? Great Gardiner strike from a free kick.

Impressed with the stadium (padded seats a la Arsenal) though it isnt complete yet as upper level seats are missing as is scoreboard and any badge indicating its MK Dons home ground on the outside of the stadium. £7 car parking. Game itself was quite enjoyable though I wasn''t sure if Cattermole deserved a red card. Two cracking goals by Gardner free kick and McLean dribble and low shot won it for Sunderland. Saha looked badley out of sorts or to be blunt...disinterested in the game. Dont think he needed to change his shirt cause he didnt break sweat and cant remember him winning a header.
