Went to this game on my own on a Wednesday evening. Wasn''t 100% sure it was a 19:45 kick off but assumed so. Arrived a couple of minutes late expecting the game to be underway but the players were still warming up on an ajoining pitch so wasn''t sure what was going on. I asked a fellow spectator and apparently kick off was being delayed as the Great Yarmouth coach had had a flat tyre and not all their players had even arrived yet. Kick off wasn''t going to be until 20:15. The delay actually worked alright for me as I ventured into the decent clubhouse at Walsham (I know it was nice from having played cricket there several times before). Man City were paying Chelsea and it had just kicked off,so it was happy days getting to watch almost the first half hour of that. I left the Clubhouse literally as the Walsham match kicked off and took my place along the railings near the half way line. I wasn''t expecting much from the game, Great Yarmouth being rock bottom of the league and already relegated and Walsham also near the bottom. So it proved, the game was dire to be honest. Yarmouth were simply awful and they even made a poor Walsham look ok. Walsham went in 2 up, 2 sloppy goals defensively from Yarmouth. Went back into the Clubhouse at half time for a 2nd installment of the City match. Went in just as Chelsea scored, but City were playing well and I ended up staying in the clubhouse to see some of that match witnessing City deservedly turn the match round to 2-1. I could see the Walsham match through the clubhouse window so could see the Yarmouth goal area where most of the action was, Went back out immediately as City went 2-1 up with about 10 minutes gone in the 2nd half. The score was still 2-0 and soon after I went out Walsham scored a penalty to make it 3-0. 2 more soft goals followed and they also missed some other sitters. Walsham brought on a sub that looked about 50 and he missed 2 easy chances. Game finished 5-0, and wasn''t a great spectacle at all. Yarmouth were awful. Went away happy to get another 1 off the list but more chuffed with the City result than anything.
