| Not even chants of oooh-ahhh, eat Ambrosia and where's you caravan, nor the scoreline, could disguise the fact that this was actually a pretty average game where neither side played particularly well: Plymouth completely lacked any drive and ambition going forward and West Ham merely put away the chances they created - nothing more - and whilst the Hammers thoroughly deserved the win the scoreline ultimately remains somewhat flattering.
