An unusal Saturday evening kick off to accomodate live television coverage. I drove down from my North East location thirty miles North of Newcastle in my mk2 cavalier the one that looked like a chevette, unfortunatley the heater had broken and it was the height of winter. The game was played in the bitter cold and wasn''t anything to write home about mogsy grtting our goal as the tie went back to Prenton park however on returning back to my car i found it totally frosted up. It would take me around two hours in good weather to get home but with no heater this would be a problem, i had no plan b..... Using a scrapper got me on the go with a narrow peep hole to see through which kept icing up both inside and outside of the glass i had to drive the whole way with my side window open and a very brisk cold air coming in god knows how i made it back without getting pulled over
