First trip to Anfield with my schoolmate Paul Harding think we called in at his granddads in Liverpool before getting the bus to the ground remember queing outside the kop passing the toilet built into the outside wall but still thinking the bogs where part of the shrine, to be fair saw some great games there over the next six years including a 9-0 win over Crystal palace and the 84 european cup semi final against panithinikos although also plenty of down sides including racist chanting and being crushed against the barriers a number of times or swept down the kop as the crowd surged forwards.
