It''s surprising just how much your memory plays tricks on you but having just found 20minute highlights on you tube(the first time i''ve seen them!) i can fill in the blanks, it was Andy Blair who gave Wednesday the lead not Chapman as i thought for years and graham sharp equalised from the spot it was also the game that ended Adrian Heaths season after a bad tackle from Brian Marwood. I was living in North Wales at the time and my mate phil(known as wilf) brother drove us to the match, we sat in the main stand although i''d only taken enough to stand on the terrace he paid the difference and also bought us chips at a chippy opposite the ground. We were about two rows from the very back and had travelled up an esculator to get up to the top of the stand, i remember thinking how high up we were and how steep and narrow the seats were getting a bit of vertigo! Also in reply to wednesdays chants of wednesday, wednesday a witty scouser retourted it''s saturday not bloody wednesday!!! Also remember the programme was of very high quality for the time and being December it was bleak but couldn''t remember just how wet it was with heavy rain.
