Millwall were formed in 1885 and have been a League team for 100 seasons ; from 1920/21 onwards. They are currently 3rd in the Championship.
Millwall were previously known as Millwall Rovers (until 1889) and Millwall Athletic (until 1910).
The highest position that Millwall have finished in the League is 10th in the First Division (1988/89).
