Very tidy stadium, and some more than tidy football on display. Swansea''s passing was very sharp and incisive and Cambridge couldn''t cope with it. The Swans were 4-0 up after 30 minutes and were 5-0 at half-time. They eased off in the 2nd half but still created a lot of decent chances. They could easily have scored 10. Stats show they had 27 goal attempts of which 14 were on target. Cambridge also impressed on the ball for a League 2 side, and nearly scored the goal of the night when a quite brilliant move ended with Jack Rolls driving a sharp shot against the home crossbar. Away fans came in decent number and cheered their team on with a few Ole''s when keeping the ball well at 0-5. Swansea''s super fluent performance was all the morre remarkable considering the manager had changed all 11 players (giving three debuts) from his Saturday team, which had beaten Birmingham 3-0 three days earlier. Wow!! Long drive home to Solihull at full-time, but the trip was well worth it having also visited Cardiff''s ground for the first time the night before.
