Nice ground and will take Mr Joyceys word for it the pies were nice. I had nice fish and chips reasonably priced at £5.20. Parked in the car park of the Reading stadium for £8.00. Game not bad and felt sorry for David James saving 2 penalties. The first one rebouning back off Jason Roberts and into the net. Unlucky.

Nice day out spoilt by the result in this game and the Utd v Liverpool cup tie. City & James in particular were unlucky not to get anything out of the game. Had fish & Chips ...and a curried chicken pie that was up there with the best pies I've tried. Parked for £8. Then bussed into Centre £3 return to watch Man Utd game on TV. Nice ground similar to St Mary's.

The drummer in the band I was in at the time was a season ticket holder and had a spare ticket. Again geographically really straight forward to get to, direct line. Decent stadium, the location making it tricky to go direct from the station and the layout around the ground is bit all over but inside it was a good atmosphere, the Planet Funk Chase The Sun after the goals always an awesome touch. Fairly drab game on the day but Reading just edged it, they went on to with the title this year.
