Points thrown away. Burnley danced round Brum, missed loads of chances then gave away a comic-cuts goal. After about twenty minutes fighting broke out among the Blues fans and the police ejected half-a-dozen or so, but one youth ran away stepping on the backs of the seats. Inevitably, he slipped and fell head first into the empty seats. Luckily, he was not too badly hurt and was marched away. Much mirth among the Burnley fans.   On my only previous visit in 1969 (v 14 Jan 69 Derby 1-1  ) it snowed and ground staff came out to clear the lines. One lad, presumably of low intelligence, got mad when the Derby fans chanted "come on you scrubbers". He hurled his brush into the crowd. The head came back first followed by the handle in about six pieces.   Gets my vote as the funniest ground to visit.
