Left home just before 16:30 and walked to Tooting station, getting the train to West Sutton and getting to the ground at about 17:15. The game itself was a decent one and we had the better of the opening 20 minutes or so and managed to take the lead through Simper after about 15 mins. Went in 1-0 up at HT but couldn't kill the game off and Hartlepool levelled about 15 mins into the second half. After re-taking the lead, we gave it away within 5 mins again and Pools took the lead with 5 mins to go. Thankfully we equalised in the dying moments to take a draw but a game that we should have and needed to win. Got the train back to Streatham and got home at about 20:30.
