In Tranmere''s lack of wisdom this was the only pre season fixture advertised for the paying public. Whilst they declared the numerous sixty minute behind closed doors fixtures a success nothing can replicate a full game in front of a crowd and i fear not for the first time we will be playing catch up as the season starts next weekend. On the same day Chester drew away to Glentoran in Ireland making a mockery of the claim these type of fixtures atre too expensive
