Nice, neat stadium: good weather: good pitch: players ... not so good. Both sides defended better than they attacked. Had 0-0 written all over it, until the last of the 5 added minutes, when sub Bradley Dack found the ball at his feet in the 6 yard box and calmly put it away. Cue a whole-hearted rendition of Englebert Humperdinck''s Last Waltz from the whole crowd. Impossible to find a ''Man of the Match'', as there wasn''t one.
Interesting to see the son of Colin Hendry and tge brother of Harry Maguire in the visitors'' line-up, and to see Craig MacGillivray and Olly Hawkins on opposite sides. They were teammates in Portsmouth''s Wembley Final win in the EFL Trophy not so long ago.
