This was the second game in a two day trip taking in games at Wigan, here and Rochadale. Stayed in a comfortable small hotel and got a good breakfast in before this 12 O''clock kick-off. The state of the ground was shocking. It was literally falling to pieces. To think that in the fifties this was one of the major clubs in the country. How the mighty fall. Left promptly to dash to Rochadale for 3pm kick off!
