Went instead of Farnborough v Sutton. Left home at about 12:20 and walked to Streatham Common. Got the train to London Bridge and then a train to New Eltham. Got to the ground just after 14:00. The ground only opened the week before and is a very nice one with lots of potential. The game itself was a Heritage Cup friendly between the oldest club in London and the world's first football club. The game was competitive and entertaining with both sides having a few chances in the first half and Cray probably edging it but found themselves 1-0 down at the break. Cray continued to create the better chances in the second half but Sheffield were clinical and managed to get a 4-0 lead in place and defend it well. Walked back to the station after the game and managed to get earlier trains so got back home at 18:15.
