A very odd experience and day watching football. Left home at about 10:00 and got the train from Streatham Common to Bletchley changing at Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central. Met Charlie at MK Central before heading to the Wetherspoons in Bletchley for a few drinks and lunch. Left the spoons at about 13:45 and walked to the ground. Sutton needed to win and hoped Colchester lose with a five goal swing in order to survive but we were 2-0 down at HT after a dreadful performance in the first half and Colchester were 1-0 up so our EFL days were numbered. Came out in the second half and put in an outstanding performance to get a 4-4 draw which although wasn''t enough to stay up but gives me confidence for next season. Walked back to Bletchley station and got the train back to Streatham Common getting home at about 20:00.
