Drove to Blackpool after work. The hosts went into the break 3-0 up which belied FC IOMs bright start on a heavy pitch, the game turned on an error when a defender headed back across his own box and a home player headed home. Shortly after weak defending saw a low cross turned in at the back post. Whilst they were both scrappy a sublime strike from the halfway line seemed to have killed the game ironically FC IOM scored a similar goal in the reverse fixture only a few weeks ago. The second half was dominated by the visitors who scored two late goals and could have nicked a deserved draw but ran out of time.
