Comments :
17th place Barnoldswick v second placed Wythenshawe. The hosts took the lead following a fortunate free kick. At first glance it looked a foul but it transpired the platers bootlaces got tangled. The resultant scramble led to the goal. WT equalised with a fierce drive into the top corner from the edge of the box and shortly after took the lead. A poor touch of a defenders thigh enabled the striker Lowe get his second holding of the last defender and poking past the keeper as he advanced. HT 1-2 WT were horrible feigning injury physical but mostly gobsh#tes. Generally Barlick where better second half but Lowe nearly got his hatrick with a strong header going into the top right corner but the keeper superbly saved. The hosts equalised with a run to the byline in a busy box was cut back and turned in. Somehow they found a winner in added time when one of their players went down but a teamate struck a shot from distance hitting the prone striker and wrongfooting the keeper low to his left.
