Comments :
Back on the road again. Hummed and hared over various games(Atherton, West Didsbury, Wythenshaw amateur''s). Apathy nearly took over at one point but football for a fiver lured me in and an added bonus near the end when the excess food was being flogged off for a pound a pie. Mmmm Balti won the day again. Weymouth brought 36 fans half of which half stood on the terrace and their team got a couple of early shots off but straight down the keepers throat. The hosts took the lead when Kosolo beat two defenders at the left by line and rifled an angled shot from six yards into the opposite top corner. They had earlier created two similar chances on the right hand side. Shortly afterwards he got his second from just outside the box when the defence failed to close him down and he fired a powerful shot into the roof of the net. Their were three long injury delays, the first two involved separate clash of heads resulting in bandages for two Weymouth players, the second proved unfortunate as the hosts scored a third when a free kick out wide was headed home whilst the away team where temporarily down to ten men. The next incident resulted in a free kick for Alty as a player was the meat in a sandwich with resulted in one of the offenders being subbed with an injured leg. seven minutes where added enough time for a fourth goal with a fine shot from twenty yards flying in. The second half started with one of the bandaged up players being subbed, Weymouth huffed and puffed and probably showed signs of improvement, neither side showed a killer touch until the closing stages. A fine shot produced an equally good save from the Weymouth keeper but he couldn''t prevent a fifth near the end from close range after a few passes within the 12 yard box. Ironically i had planned to get the Altrincham supporters coach to the reverse fixture only for them not to advertise one and in the end not bother under the guise of not being cost effective.
