A relaxing weekend away for Fletch, Jimmy and Trueman in Newcastle and a game in Middlesborough is on the agenda at the start off March 2006.
The lads head to Newcastle for two nights, they arrive around 3pm on the friday, they check in, get a bit off food and head out early eveving and enjoy a few beers on the toon. The lads go round the gate and Lennons bar as usual before they soon move to a nightclub.
The lads have a laugh with the bar staff but Trueman soon wants to attack one of the bar attendants who blatenly blags him and keeps £10 of his change from a £20 note !! A arguement starts and the lads are advised to wait until the end of the night and they can check the till !! The lads not prepared to wait until about 4am to get a tenner back eventually leave around 1am !!
Tueman and Jimmy decide they want to go back to the room to powder there nose but Fletch wants drink and girls so stays out on his own and gets smahed !! Why go to Newcastle if your gonna sniff in a room boys !!! Fletch leaves and finds a pub / nightclub on his own, drinking on his own is not overly appealling and after a couple he decides to head back. Walking down the stairs a young lady grabs his hand and the couple leave together. Can not remember what was discussed but the two jump in a taxi and Flech begins to think this could be his lucky night.
The taxi pulls up to where Fletch is staying and Sharon (not Osbourne) can not decide weather to go in, the taxi driver makes a comment or two trying to persuade the young lady not to go in but Fletch dosent stand for this and pushes forward, Sharon agrees to come in. Not long in the room and there at it like animals and enjoy a night off passion !! Then the young lady gets weird, requesting her hair is pulled while just lieing there together, offering Fletch the chance to move in with her after knowing her a hout and trying to persuade him by offering to cook all his meals !! Fletch points out he lives in Birmingham and this is not possible. Just as Fletch think she is going and he can go to bed as she rings a taxi she calls back and cancels and informs Fletch she would like to cuddle for a hour !! Fletch cant believe this and has to play snuggleys for a hour. The taxi is again called and Fletch bumps in to Jimmy with a big smile as if to say ''I GOT SOME'' The taxi takes ages but eventually Shazza goes home and everyone can go to sleep !!
After about 4 hours sleep the lads are hung over and head for breakfast, they get the decent train to journey to the dump named Middlesborough about 1pm, a few beers and to the match they go !!
A awful game, the best effort comes from Nicky Butt but the shot is closer to st andews than the Boro goal !! Mark Viduka scores a first half winner for Boro !
The lads head back to Newcastle recked, they force themselves out for a couple of hours on the night but are two recked and head back after a couple of hours. At least they made it out after Jimmy and Trueman wanted to stay in, get some vodka and watch match off the day. A chat with a few birds but the lads are to recked too pull and head back to the room !! Shazza rings but dosent say much.
Fletch is forced to go top and tail with Trueman as the tight bluenose has only paid to stay one night !! The lads just about get away with it as the owner of the b & b nealy catches them the next day !! Trueman is also court without a train ticket on the way home but Fletch and Jimmy bail him out with the funds!!
A good trip but poor match (not for the first time..................or the last) !!!!!!
Trueman heads home for a smoke, Fletch and Jimmy head to the mill for a few beer Jimmy departs and Fletch carry''s on the session until the early hours and dodges work on Monday !!
