I remember this as it was raining heavily throughout the game and because Bristol Rovers were playing at Twerton Park temporarily, there was not enough room for the Directors and officials in the main stand, so they sat under their umbrellas throughout!! Also, for the same reason, some of the players who were not involved in the game, including David Hirst, stood on the terraces with the away fans !! Trevor Francis scored the winning goal.
