A weekend in the south for Della and me, the game today and the Gutter Brothers gig in Portsmouth the day after. The game was played in an absolute downpour and we got soaked walking the mile from the match back to the B&B. Had a great night out in Plymouth down by the Hoe and bumped into George and his mates in the first pub we got to. The match itself didn't fill us up with optimism for the season ahead. Craddock and Stearman clearly had to work on their partnership, both left Fallon for each other and he nipped in to score the opener. Vokes though with practically his first touch scored the late equaliser for us.
