Match no. 1376. A very entertaining game that Hertford probably deserved to win. 3-1 ahead with 30 minutes left, their best player received a straight red card for violent conduct. Ware pulled one back but failed to make their advantage count before finally equalising in the 6th minute of added time! This was the first time I'd been to a game on 16th November for 34 years - Match no. 598 - West Ham 2-1 Watford. Also, 56 years ago today - Match no. 4 - Arsenal Reserves 3-1 West Ham Reserves, the first West Ham game I ever saw.
