Looked forward to this visit despite the miles due to the ground improvements. Expected to be sitting in the new stand on the side but found our seats in the older stand on the opposite side but with a good view and no posts this wasn''t too disappointing. Tranmere bossed the first half whilst Exeter had a poor opening 45 minutes, Norwood gave rovers the lead with a scuffed deflected dambuster bouncing shot. Second half was a different story having not had a shot of note in the first half you new Exeter would have had a rollicking and upped their game 10% the way Tranmere played first half we should have copped with this however we came out with a negative game plan to leave norwood alone on the halfway line and sit back and defend the lead which increased exeter''s potency and performance a further 20% as we had to repel wave after wave of attack which wasn''t good to watch or good for the heart and only two class saves from Davies the second deep into added time ensured the points came home. Also disappointed with the three yellow cards as whilst they were all fouls they were basic free kicks and it wasn''t a game littered with fouls by any means. Shared the services on the way down with Bolton and blackpool fans going to Swansea and Bristol rovers respectively. Caprice was the player omitted from the line ups below
