Comments :
I set off from Scunthorpe and got a photograph of the speed sign that had been puzzling me on the way. The sandwiches in Hartshead Moor were way too expensive for my liking sobI did not bother. I found Bradford Park Avenue’s ground easily and parked for £2. The attendant informed me that the chips inside the ground were the best in the league. In I went! It was Non Zleague day so by presenting my season ticket I got in for half price. It was just £5. There was one stand along the side. A run down affair! Other than that there was a tiny stand behind the goal and a running track around the pitch. I went to get my chips and also a can of coke. Then back to find a seat. The match kicked off as I tucked into what really were very tasty chips. I also had a ham and cream doughnut, grapes and blueberries and a bag of crisps. I spent much of the first half catching up with emails and messages, updating my diary and other clerical work. Good job because there was little action on the pitch. Bradford looked the better side. No goals! In the second half Bradford scored a great goal and later on hit the post. Then with ten minutes to go all of a sudden Kidderminster sneaked an equaliser. Completely against the run of play. Bradford panicked and another goal was scored by Kiddetminster. So the match finished 2-1 and we all streamed out. I felt very sorry for Bradford who I thought should have won! In my car I got out of my coat and then set off for home. Just over an hours journey. It had been a great day out.
