On a beautifully sunny afternoon that defied all the bad weather that had extended the Midland Premier League into May: a plucky already-relegated Rocester held a bad-tempered Shepshed to a 1-1 draw. Shepshed dominated and deservedly went in front when Hohn headed home from a corner. Rocester hit back when Smyth converted a penalty: quite what it was given for I couldn''t be sure.
