Burnley were at home to Wolves and I had become so sick of seeing Burnley give away stupid goals to them, be denied by bad refs, I decided to have a day out. What a delightful club! chatted with the guy who was selling, and had indeed produced, the programme. There is a dispute going on between the directors and some supporters but this did not take from the friendliness. Poor game. Hemel were a whingeing, mardy  - outfit-not very nice.   - Penydarren is built over a Roman site and would not be allowed if starting now. When in use as a league ground it would have been the highest above sea level approx 650 feet, about 100 higher than the Albion.   - Train back was late, held back for the Welsh egg-chasers celebrating winning the Grand Slam. No problem for me, can''t stand English Rugby Union   - Burnley conceded three Mickey Mouse goals as usual. (Amazingly we won this year. Means Wolves are going up)
