Having left tranmere 20mins after the final whistle it took just over an hour to drive to oswestry. Ironically last time I saw Dumbarton play it was also the second game in a day. (Having watched rangers v Livingston before seeing the sons take on falkirk in a tea time game which was also televised this time on BBC alba. I had a scare upon arriving being informed it was all ticket but fortunately they were still on sale and I also managed to get one of the last programmes before they sold out. I mingled with some of the away fans before entering the ground. The bizarre possibilitiy of having an English team who play in a Welsh league getting to a final were their was a 50/50 chance of playing a northern Irish team in a Scottish cup final to be played in Scotland was still on! Tns started well having a bullet header hit the bar and in truth dumbarton offered little in attack. At half time it was goalless but tns went in front after a loose ball was fired home from close range but their would be a twist in the tail with two sublime goals coming from nowhere. Firstly a 20 yard strike sailed into the top right corner of the net before a late freekick from a similiar range left the tns keeper with no chance hitting the opposite side of the net. Jubilant sons fans at the final whistle who will go on to play caley thistle who beat crusaders 3-2 today(sunday). Not for the first time i found issues on the road home the A483 was closed and the diversion sent traffic into wrexham however as usual the diversion signs disappeared on route leaving drivers lost and confused nice one
