This was the City''s last away game of the season versus a Stoke team in the top half of the table. The City after a decent run of results were sitting in mid table also but both teams had no chance of squeezing into the play offs. A strong travelling support from City made for a great atmosphere which couldnt be said for the Stoke fans who only sung when some fat man at half time did a rendition of Delilah to the hilarity of the City fans. Adebola scored the only goal of the game against one of his former clubs, meaning City achieved a rare away victory at a formidable ground. This result alongside a good run of form gave the City fans hope that next season could be the one where we really pushed for a play off place (It wasnt to be) At the end of the game when back on the coach some lad had stolen a seat from the stadium and can remember the home fans heckling abuse at the coach.
