History is made.
The new V.A.R. decision review system was trialled in this game, only the third English match ever, and the 2nd Leicester City goal was the first goal ever awarded in England after V.A.R. review. Mahrez passed to Iheanacho to score in the 78th minute, but the linesman''s flag went up. Therefore offside decision made on the field by Jon Moss. However, the review, by review official Mike Jones in London, showed the scorer was just onside, so after a 67 second delay, the goal was awarded.
Decent game. Leicester mostly in cruise control, apart from a 15 minute spell in the 1st half when Jakupovic had to make two smart saves.
In the 80th minute Jamie Vardy came on as sub for the last 10 minutes against the team where he had made his name.
