TOTAL VISITS 1 TRANMERE VISITS PLD 1 W0 D0 L1 GF0 GA1. Travelled across country with my mate tony from Bedford having stayed at relatives after doing the West Ham v Huddersfield game 24 hours earlier. The game was played in difficult wet and windy conditions but that didn''t paper over the huge cracks in the performance. First half wasn''t too badl but couldn''t see a goal coming however second half the midfield was none existent with a huge gap between defence and attack. Prichard won it for the hosts with a fine low shot in the 88th minute. Davies had been forced into a great save first half but neither keeper had a great deal to do. The home keeper saving with his legs from a great mazy dribble from defender Buxton the visitors best effort. One decent performance in ten games is extremely worrying
