A fourth minute Chris Iwelumo volley following an uncharachteristic mistake from Roger Johnson allowed Wolves to take an early lead and immediately put us on the back foot. The lead was then doubled on 8'' by Sylvan Ebanks-Blake however, following an injury to Jay Bothroyd and a quick reshuffle up front we hit back with a Ross McCormack goal on 18''. No further goals were forthcoming and the disappointment was felt by the home support.
