Left home at about 12:30 with Dad and Joseph. Got the bus to Tooting Broadway and got the northern line to Elephant and Castle where we changed to get the bakerloo line to London Paddington. From there, we then got the 13:38 train to West Drayton where we walked for about 20 mins to get to the ground. Wasn't exactly the nicest area to walk through which is pretty typical of West London in my opinion. We got to the ground at about 14:20 and went in the bar to watch the last 5 mins of the Man Utd v B'mouth game. The ground itself was a typical non-league ground for this level. We sat in the main stand which had approx 100 seats. Opposite was a smaller stand with some seats, but not as many as main stand. On either side behind the goal there was a covered bit of terrace and a wooden fence going around the edge of the pitch. Uxbridge were the better side in an entertaining 1st half and had the better of the chances and were probably unlucky to not go in at HT 1-0 up. The 2nd half wasn't as entertaining and Bedford were much better in the 2nd half, goal was a header into the bottom corner from a floated cross. Uxbridge themselves didn't create any clear cut chances in 2nd half. Draw was probably a fairer result but Bedford ran out 1-0 winners. Walked back towards the station to get the 17:15 train after leaving the game a couple of minutes before FT. On the way back found £10 on the floor, so somehow managed to make a profit out of the day. Got the train back to Paddington where we got the underground back to Tooting Broadway and a bus back home. Got back at about 18:30 ish.
