Comments :
A goal late into added on time gave Bromsgrove Sporting a welcome 3 points in their quest towards the league title. Heath Hayes were the first to strike when Ryan Burns supplied a sublime finish in the 5th. minute which deceived Jonno Brown in the home goal. Sporting huffed and puffed but were finding the Hayes defence a tough nut to crack, until 3 minutes before the break when leading scorer Jason Cowley's header from Reece Hewitt's cross ensured Sporting went in at half time all square. Sporting had the majority of the second half, but could not just find the final touch. Last gasp defending, the woodwork, some fine saves from keeper Mark Wiggins seemed to frustrate Sporting. Heath Hayes also had a few moments at the other end while Sporting were pushing for the winner. The winning goal came deep into time added on when Danny Morris' long throw was flicked on by Luke Shorthouse and Luke Edwards lurking at the far post lashed the ball home. Cue scenes of euphoria at the shed end.
