TOTAL VISITS 2. TRANMERE VISTS PLD 2 W2 D0 L0 GF3 GA0. 471 away fans Travelled on official supporters coach stopping for half an hour at warwick serices, ground slightly changed from last year with new offices being built behind the far goal and some temporary portacabins scattered arround the preimiter of the main stand including the club shop. Entertaining game with tranmere on top for long periods however squandered several guilt edged chances in the first half with the home side actually coming closest hitting the post from 25 yards. Tollit opened the scoring in the second half with a low driven shot from just inside the box. The weather was glorious but the low sun was causing problems in the second half for the fans standing on the side. Norwood who''d missed most of the chances eventually sealed the tie after a great run and driven cross from Tollitt (who was credited with both goals on BBC ceefax), it ended his mini goal drought and brought a special hug from his manager at the final whistle.
