I planned my rail trip three months in advance to see Rochdale but again their home fixture was switched so I made my way to Preston instead - £7.85 extra by train. Since Duncan had seen Man U draw on TV at Cambridge the previous night he was happy to travel from Huddersfield to join me - he brought a couple of belated Xmas presents for his sisters too! We enjoyed not just the match but a few little extras. The ground is great, the Tom Finney fountain is fantastic but the ''Man of the Match'' for me was somebody putting their hand in front of the display screens when they were updating the scores from other FA Cup ties. A long day - certainly- but an enjoyable trip and great to see Duncan too.
