Comments :
First ever visit to Wembley ! The Mercantile Credit Classic to celebrate teh FAs Centenary. We wer one of 2 teams to qualify from Division 4 to play in a tournament of 20 minute games over two days on the hallowed turf. I met up with a couple of old mates down from uni and we found a pub near the ground that was jsut too agreeable. we were far too drunk to take in much of the stadium, would never be let in in such a state today, but I do recall the wonder equaliser from Robbie Dennison, a 30 yard screamer that beat Southall all ends up. Sadly we lost on penalties in this first round mini-game. THe effects of the earlier carousing got the better of us in the end and we left early. Luckily, I'd have a chance later in the season to see us play in the Sherpa Van Trophy Final in a more sober state
