| Goals from Danico Johnson and Javea Roberts ruined City''s aim of retaining the Worcestershire Senior Cup on a warm evening at Walshes Meadow, Stourport.
After both sides cancelled each other out in the first half, (although Redditch should have had a penalty for handball) the visitors started the second half with attacking intent. The deadlock was broken in the 60th minute with a driven effort from the unmarked Johnson. There was nothing that the trialist keeper, Raajan Gill, could do to keep it out. The second goal came in the 72nd minute, as full back Javea Roberts, all alone at the back post, headed home easily.
Never visit the Meadow without partaking of a Swiftsburger. My cardiologist will cuss but it has to be done!
