Comments :
Hmmm. Should have been 3 or 4 up at half time, but then we were close to letting it slip altogether.

Total visits 1 Tranmere visits PLD 1 W0 D1 L0 GF2 GA2. Tranmere twice took the lead firstly an og from former rover Atkinson quickly cancelled out but differing reports as to the scorer dickinson or Hurst, halftime 1-1. Kirby restored rovers lead but once again were pegged back within minutes no doubting Hurst as the scorer this time. Their had been a comedy moment before the game as the two away turnstyles had to be opened from the outside which took three attempts as wrong keys and other tools were tried. Tranmere had the better of the first half but started the second nervously, an early misunderstanding in defence had Guiseley screaming we can only guess for tranmeres keeper supposedly handling outside the box? and a second costly mistake saw two defenders going for the same ball and colliding leading to Tranmere rock Mcnulty having to be subbed through injury so all in all probably a fair result
