Liverpool at home in February, almost two years to the day they luckily beat us in the league cup final !! Birmingham where worrying above the drop zone after going 10 games in all competition without a win and where desperate for all three points !!   The game began and Birmingham made a bright start getting a couple of balls in to the box but to now avail. 11 minutes before half time Birmingham where awarded a free kick on the edge of the box, Stephen Clemence stepped up and smashed it low in the bottom corner, 1-0 to Birmingham. Half time arrived and Birmingham lead the the thiefs 1-0 !!   The second half began, Liverpool pressured but just over 20 minutes from time Birmingham countered attacked, Christophe Dugarry set Stan Laziridis away who''s low cross was converted by Morrison 2-0 !!!!!!!!!! Birmingham where heading for a major scap !! With 13 minutes to go Michael Owen pulled one back for Liverpool but Birmingham hung on for a famous victory in front of the Sky cameras !! A great result and a few beers for Fletch and Jimmy in the Mosely arms to celebrate !! A few beers with girlfriend Becky and her dad Rob then back to Worester for Jimmy and Becky''s for Chris.
